Good afternoon!
I'm deploying a new Exchange 2013 auto-attendant and the one thing I'm having trouble figuring out a way to do is to create an easily manageable message for inclement weather.
In other environments this is often handled by TUI via a message that can be either toggled on and is deleted when toggled off so you don't have to try to record silence over the phone.
As far as I can tell there is nothing like this in Exchange. There is the informational message, but unless its already set in the AA it can't be turned on via TUI. And once it has been set up on the AA you can't easily delete this message or just record silence via the TUI. My question is, is there a way to accomplish this?
We manage several Exchange UM deployments for clients and many times the person responsible for recording messaging on these days is either not technical or not someone we want logging into ECP to try and replace the informational message or both.
In this particular environment their is only a single Exchange Server acting as the voicemail and AA services for a UC540 deployment
